Longines Irish Champions Weekend

Longines Irish Champions Weekend is the highlight of the close season Irish racing and social calendar. 2 fabulous days of racing start with Leopardstown on Saturday 9th September with one of the richest and most prestigious days racing featuring the Irish Champion Stakes. Sunday 10th September is one of the major highlights of the year as the Curragh hosts day 2 of this very prestigious weekend of top class racing featuring the Comer Group International Irish St Leger, Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes, Moyglare Stud Stakes, Moyglare Jewels Blandford Stakes and Derrinstown Stud Flying Five, together with the Tattersalls Super Auction Sales Stakes and two Premier EBF Handicaps. The first of our 8 races starts at 2pm. Other attractions include the Longines Prize of Elegance in association with Kildare Village and David Marshall Hair Salon and a variety of great music and food.

Excellent Hospitality packages are available in our Champagne Bar and Marquee Restaurant, enjoy a delicious 4 Course Lunch with a reserved table for the whole day from only €189pp including admission. Admission Ticket options

Buying E-Tickets online is the fastest way to book your place at one of our exciting race-meetings. Once you have purchased you will receive an email with the required number of e-tickets attached. Please print these and bring them with you to gain entry on the day. All ticket types are also available on the day from our Ticket Shop subject to availability.

Hospitality Package Options

All Hospitality packages are priced per person. Champagne Bar Hospitality is in the O'Briens Wines Champagne Bar located opposite the paddock and includes Racecourse Admission a Reception, 4 Course Lunch & Afternoon Tea, Reserved table for the day and a race card for each guest.

Legends Restaurant Hospitality packages are located in our new state of the art Marquee near the parade ring and includes Racecourse Admission a Reception, 4 Course Lunch & Afternoon Tea, Reserved table for the day and a race card for each guest.

Curragh Thoroughbred Trail 2017

To make this weekend one to remember, join the Curragh Thoroughbred Trail on the Curragh plains before racing on Sunday 10th September. The area is steeped in racing history and this is an excellent opportunity to have a unique visit behind the scenes at many of the leading training yards, equine facilities and stud farms on the Curragh.
Registration opens at 8.30am at the racecourse where complimentary light refreshments will be served. All trials will depart from the racecourse at 9.30am sharp and you can view and book the trail of your choice, with or without admission tickets included, securely below.
